Mainport Volunteers

From Friday 30th to Sun 02nd Oct 2011 the weekend before the commencement of “Simon Week” nationwide, Cork Simon held a fund raising ”Bag Packing” weekend across the City supermarkets. Transition Year Students across the city volunteered their time to help with the packing and for the third consecutive year Mainport Staff gave up their hard earned free time to supervise the packers and were delighted to be involved with Cork Simon in helping the homeless in Cork.
